TSAO GALLERY
ACGA CLAY SHOW

 The mission of the Davis Art Center's Tsao Gallery is to further the appreciation and understanding of the visual arts in the Davis community and surrounding region.

To accomplish this mission, the Tsao Gallery serves the community in a variety of ways:

• As a venue for a diverse array of artistic media, from drawing and painting to site specific installation.
• As a non-profit space where work can be displayed which may not find an outlet in the region's commercial galleries.
• As a resource and annual exhibition venue for area students.
• As a casual and comfortable setting where art can be viewed, free of charge, by the entire community.

With approximately eight exhibitions per year, the Tsao Gallery serves year-round as an educational resource for children and adults.

May 30- June 22  NAMI-Yolo Sunflower Show. Reception, June 13.
June 27- July 28   Ted Vasin, Paintings
Reception and Live Sound Performance, July 11, 7-9 pm.
August 4-28   Jan Schubert and Terry Busse,"Heart Felt Stories." Art by Davis Waldorf School students also on display. Children's ArtAbout reception with storytelling and puppets, August 8, 4-6 pm.
September 2-30   Julie Patterson, Digital Images. Reception, September 12, 7-9 pm.
October 8- November 14  "Exploring One of a Kind" - Monotypes. Reception, October 10, 7-9 pm.
The Davis Art Center Gallery accepts exhibition proposals on an ongoing basis. Exhibitions are typically scheduled one year in advance.

Artists should provide the following materials when submitting work for review:

• Slides, prints or transparencies of work
• Artist's statement
• Current resumé
• Self addressed stamped envelope for the return of materials
